Your Journey

Day 1: Arrival to Chiang Mai

As soon as you arrive at Chiang Mai International Airport, we will pick you up and take you directly to your hotel, allowing you to unwind and get ready for your tour the following day.

Overnight stay at the Banthai Village

Day 3: Meung Kud – Fang (B/L/D)

Morning: Start your day with breakfast at the resort before heading to the trekking point. Embark on a 1-hour hike to a natural waterfall. Here, you can enjoy lunch, relax, swim, and unwind in the serene surroundings.

Afternoon: After exploring the natural waterfall, hike back to the pickup point. Next, enjoy an exciting white water rafting experience through multiple rapids on the Mae Tang River, followed by a truck transfer to Fang district.

Overnight stay at the Phumanee Hotel – for your evening relaxation and dinner.

Day 4: Fang – Doi Pu Muen (B/L/D)

Morning: Spend the morning exploring the local market to gather vegetables and ingredients for your cooking class, after your breakfast at the hotel. Later, enjoy a bike ride around the township, visiting an ancient temple in Fang town. Return to the hotel for your cooking class and savor the lunch you prepare.

Afternoon: After lunch you’ll depart from the hotel to visit villages where silverware and Thai Lue-style fabric are crafted, along with a swordsmith. Then, continue uphill by 4×4 WD open-air vehicle on a bumpy gravel road to Doi Pu Muen, a Lahu hill tribe village (road conditions may vary in rainy weather). Arrive and receive a warm welcome at the homestay. Store your belongings in a traditional Lahu-style bamboo hut and relax, interact with locals, engage in activities, or assist in dinner preparation. Learn local skills like making roofs from leaves or basket weaving (seasonal).

Overnight stay at the Homestay –  Enjoy candlelit dinner without electricity, followed by a traditional hill tribe performance narrating their history and legends.

Day 5: Doi Pu Muen – Waterfall – Chiang Dao Cave – Chiang Mai (B/L/-)

Morning: Enjoy the final morning in the forest, witnessing a beautiful sunrise over the mountain peak. Have breakfast at your accommodation and take extra time to explore the village, particularly the tea plantation, a primary source of income for the Lahu people of Doi Pu Muen. Learn about tea-making processes, from leaf picking to drying and roasting, and discover local culinary traditions  by preparing and enjoying a bamboo-cooked lunch in the village.

Afternoon: Transfer to Pu Muen Waterfall, then return to Chiang Mai. Afterwards, visit Chiang Dao Cave before transferring to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 6: End of Tour – Flight Home

When it’s time for you to leave Chiang Mai, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and ensure you arrive at the airport on schedule for your flight home. Have a safe trip!
